Take a string and wrap it around your desired finger
A string is more ideal because it wraps around your finger seamlessly and gives you a more accurate reading
Put the string against a ruler (read in mm)
Be sure to mark the string when it's on your finger. It will be easier to read the measurement against the ruler.
